Dracula Steampunk Review is the first Romanian steampunk blog in the blogosphere. Our goal is to bring steampunk to the country of Dracula where it was borne the most enduring retro futuristic model melted in a cultural crucible. The blog will publish critical articles, movie reviews, do-it-yourself techniques and will provide resources for the artists to find the right tools or materials for their projects.
The Romanian language version of the blog is called Aburistul and can be easily accessed by clicking on the Romanian flag icon from the sidebar. An important part of our mission are the translations done in Romanian, English and French. In this regard we invite the editors, bloggers and artists who want to extend the coverage of their work in Romania and Estern Europe, to submit their articles and portfolio presentations to Dracula Steampunk Review.

Very nice!!
“Because if it doesn’t have cogs, brass and a full head of steam, you aren’t even trying.”
With all do respect, please do try. Then, call it steampunk.
Good luck.
Well, I didn’t figure out (yet) how works the Mechanical Tiger from Bruges :))
Thanks, Darla
I saw http://draculasteampunk.wordpress.com/ and wanted to mention a useful site: http://www.FreePatentsOnline.com
It provides free patent searching, free PDF downloading, allows annoting documents and sharing them, and free alerts for new documents.
If you have a spot, a link to let your users know abou the site would be great.
Nice approach – particularly coming from Romania – the motherland of Dracula. Feel like reading the novel once more today.

Hi Darla,
I saw your blog linked on Beyond Victoriana and I am eagerly looking forward to your upcoming posts!
Kevin
This is an awesome, awesome idea. I’d love to include you on my Steampunk links page if you don’t mind.
Seeing as Dracula is one of the Steampunk root books, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be represented in the blogosphere too. Good show!
